I've been thinking a lot lately (could have something to do with the long weekend and the fact that I barely have a life), and I got to wondering about paradoxes. I'm not sure why, but the whole concept just interests me, it sort of makes me feel like whatever higher power governs the universe is just programed to fuck with us from time to time. Currently playing a leading role in the glittering Bollywood musical that is my life is the fact that the more you want something to happen, the less likely it is that it will. Like, if I didn't give a shit about getting a phone call, then my phone would be ringing nonstop, but if I sit all day staring at the phone and jumping at the slightest noise thinking that it is a phone call, then it'll never happen.
Anyway, this is partly born out of sheer, soul-crushing boredom, but what are some paradoxes that interest you guys? Or maybe that have happened/are happening to you?
