Anyone played a game which makes them afraid to sleep at night? Or maybe a game makes you constantly look over your shoulders a few days after you've played and makes you question the universe around you, the people in that universe, or even your own sanity?

Resident Evil 2 was my first horror game, and I'll say now that I was playing the game at an age where I shouldn't have been allowed anywhere near it. The music where the crows burst in through the windows... the memory of that scene is burned somewhere deep into the back of my skull as some kind of primal fear.

Any other games which didn't just scare the pants off you but actually affected you in real life for at least a day afterwards? It doesn't even have to be something that scared you, just something that disturbed your normal view on life for a few days.

Dead Rising still has me checking out anywhere I go for barricade and/or weapon material.

Fallout 3 has made me wary of Train Stations, you never know when a pack of feral ghouls is waiting to eat yer brains. Although that wasn't so much out of terror as simply "too much Fallout within 24 hours".
