My parents divorced when I was a baby, and I was raised by my mom, who always let me pursue my own interests. We get along well.
Few years ago I moved to the city where my dad lives. Before he lived far away, so we saw each other maybe once a year. However, since we live in the same city now, we have developed a close relationship. We have similar tastes in comedy and old tv-shows, so we hang out together and go to movies etc.
I have a close relationship with my grandparents from my mother's side, who helped her raise me. I get along well with my grandpa, who likes nature and animals like me.

I try to get along with my parents. It's much easier now that I'm in college and don't have to deal with them on a daily basis, but I still hate talking to my Mom on the phone. In person, my Dad is generally easy to get along with, because he's the more easygoing one, while Mom is really uptight about way too many things.

I currently live with my mom, because I couldn't stand my dad and all of his hysteria around baseball, so I just kinda moved out.

My father died when I was 12, I had a good relationship with him. Perhaps even too good, realizing I was rather spoiled when I look back. My parents divourced when I was 7, And my mother bailed on me and my 2 brothers when we heard of my fathers cancer. Havent seen her since nor do I want to.
It's called life, you fall out with your parents all the time like you would anyone else. Just go with the flow and use your head and try not to do anything stupid and you'll be fine.

Step-mother, totally despise, brink of complete hatred.

Third wife he was cheating on with his present wife. Present wife is trying to kill him to collect insurance, I see it, thier three kids (my siblings) see it, my mom and step-dad see it, everyone sees it, just not my dad. Oh well. I just hope my siblings don't get jipped out of the insurance money and inheritance by thier mother. Know they will though.

well, i've stuck with my mom through her x amount of relationships,every time i tell her to stop sleeping around so she doesnt get pregnant(again) she gets insuulted and stomps off like a little girl. I love her but she is immature, and can't stand to be without a mate. I think the term is succubus. My current step dad is basically the EXACT opposite of me, and we tolerate each other. the only reason i dont completely despise him is that he is very smart and makes alot of sense....even though he believes jesus was the god 'o war.
so overall, im pretty meh about my parents. Im in my late teen years and i need to move out soon or else there is a very real chance someone will wiind up dead(preferably them). I think what holds our family together is my adorable baby bro. He's so cute, and tough, and smart, and....

I've never gotten along with my dad and frankly the man repulses me... but I get along fairly well with my mother!
