Hey Guys

I'm turning 21 next week so I'm having a massive party. Problem is that apparently my type of music does not make good party music. Therefore it would be great if you guys could suggest some good music current and old to have playing at the party.

What kind of party are you going for? A 100 people dancing, drinking and partying (like in a club) requires different music from 20 people standing/sitting around chatting and hanging out (like in a pub).

In case of the first I can't help, in case of the second I might still not be able to help ;)

Yes, we need more deets to be able to establish whether to recommend Kasabian - Fire or DJ Snake & Lil Jon - Turn Down for What (whatever that is).

More deets.

If you're going for classy, why not go for some Jazz, swing and big band? Though no one ever goes for classy these days...

Really, unless you tell us what kind of party its gonna be, its going to be difficult for us to recommend a suitable soundtrack.

That said, what I can say is that for the second final song, slot in some really kvlt, obscure, harsh, dirty bro0tal black metal song so you can clear out the house if things get too hectic/you wanna go to bed/you just realised you hate these people. As for the final song? well, consider heavily before using it as you might incur damage as well...

Ugh, now I know my recommended videos are going to be clogged up with shit like this. For a supposed party song, it has pretty much the most anti-party feel ever. So boring...

I'm having the party at a pub (hiring one of the areas)so really I'm looking for a bit of everything. There's around 100 guests so really I'm after a bit of everything. There will be a few minors and it's next door to a restaurant so I have to take that into consideration.

My ultimate cheese-y party playlist;

Bloodhound Gang - The Bad Touch
The Dandy Warhols - Bohemian Like You
Fun Lovin' Criminals - Scooby Snacks
MC Hammer - Can't Touch This
Ricky Martin - Livin' La Vida Loca
Sum 41 - In Too Deep
Thin Lizzy - The Boys are Back in Town

I'll probably get shot to hell for this, but Nickelback have some really catchy, over the top stuff; Bottoms Up; Midnight Queen; Something in your Mouth; Burn it to the Ground.

And never forget the pirate metal. Anything by Alestorm.

Did someone say party?
This man is party. Seriously though, Andrew WK is ridiculously good drunk music, the only people I know that refuse to enjoy it are pretentious wankbags.

DJ Fresh - dibby sound

Rudimental - feel the love

Crank up the bass, open the bar and your guests will be loving it

Also have loads of 80s/90s cheese later on in your playlist. Drunk people love that shit (myself included)

Scooter - logical song

Eiffel 65 - blue

Put this classic 90s cheese on when everyone is drunk
Blue was my favourite song for years when I was younger!
