Past Generation Games

Okay so I searched this and I couldn't find anything, before someone moans. So I'm sorry if I missed it.

I noticed a few threads over the past couple of days asking about games losing their originality and their appeal; so what old games from previous consoles would you bring back and make available on the current generation consoles?
Exactly as they were then, no messing around with the graphics, making them HD or anything, exactly the same.

I've raved about this game enough on other forums but for me it has to be Spyro Gateway to Glimmer. It had a great storyline, it was addictive, fun and there was always something to do.

I hate to be "That guy" but FF7 would be great if they didn't touch the dialogue and only added in voice overs and better graphics.

Other than that, Half-Life 1 which the Black Mesa Source team is currently working on (Hopefully! They're bad at updating us)

Definitely. Along with Croc, The Spyro Trilogy (There was only ever three Spyro games!), and Bigs Life (a surprisingly good little Movie Game) all for PSone. And Donkey Kong 64 and Conkers Bad Fur Day for N64.

I will agree that the FF7 graphics didn't stand the test of time, but you whippersnappers don't really need voice overs. I think they should fix the default name back to Aerith, but other than some graphics upgrades, nothing new.

Now if they release Persona for the PSP that game will need one hell of a translation fix.

Digimon World (PS1)

Definitely. Along with Croc, The Spyro Trilogy (There was only ever three Spyro games!), and Bigs Life (a surprisingly good little Movie Game) all for PSone. And Donkey Kong 64 and Conkers Bad Fur Day for N64.

Conkers Bad Fur Day already got a remake for the classic Xbox. It was pretty good, but the multiplayer wasn't as fun as the 64 version.

Personally my favorite past generation game is Shadow of the Colossus. Because the Colossi are so cool.

I loved KotOR II, but the shallow ending made me want to know more. And I want HK-47 to have his own game featuring nothing but him killing meatbags.

Really my only problem with it was Nar Shadda. Specifically the Cantina.

Well, it was when Atton was attacked the two Twi'leks. This random encounter always pissed me off cause I never had him wearing any good armor or any good weapons. Cause frankly who are you going to take his sorry butt, or Kriea and that evil dudes apprentice.

I thought the VO's for Advent Children (Don't get me wrong, I'm no fanboy. I just watch any videogame based move because... Well, I just do) were pretty spot on to the characters but VO isn't totally necessary. But if they cut VO I'd want it to be a PSN game, not a full 60$ ordeal.
