So, after years of hearing about how great it is, how much I should play it, and how vastly under-appreciated it is, I finally started Beyond Good and Evil. Got about 2 hours in, beat the first dungeon, got the first major upgrade, got to the next dungeon and.... stuck. Come to a chain link wall. Usually, this is where my pig friend would come in handy. All I'd have to is call him up and he'd cut down the barrier... and he's nowhere to be found. Retraced my steps, went back into the city went back to home base, the garage, and the first dungeon, but he has vanished. Sure, I can hear his voice when I'm in the hovercraft, but he never gets out. Less than 2 hours in and the game is glitched so bad I can't progress in any direction. Makes Skyrim seem quaint by comparison. Sure, I could revert to a previous save, but why bother? I'll have to play through up to the point I'm at which was about an hour of exploring and tedious platforming. I paid 2 bucks for it, is it really worth trying to slog through (and probably just ending up at another buggy dead end)? I know there is no chance for a patch for it either because Ubi Soft dissolved the team immediately after finishing the title.
Am I missing something? Is there some "pig call?" I really genuinely hope there is not a Beyond Good and Evil 2. This is ridiculous.
