Patrick Stewart and Mad Max 4

There is a rumour floating around Hollywwod saying that Captain Picard is going to make an appearance in the new Mad Max movie.

According to TotalFilm:

Asked in a recent interview whether he would be up for making a movie in Australia, the X-men actor replied;

"I may be back here soon to film a movie with George Miller"

Miller is of course currently working on his sequel to Happy Feet, but Stewart isn't in that - so logic dictates that the actor is reffering [sic] to George Miller's much publicised [sic] next project; Fury Road.

I absolutely love the original trilogy but a 4th Mad Max that does not include Mel Gibson? Seems like a bad idea to me.

Yes, but unlike a lot of reboots, it has the same director. In fact, one of the two remakes I've ever liked was The Producers, which was directed by Mel Brooks, who also made the original.

I have high hopes.
