So everyone, do I have a wierd story for you. (Note: This all happened on Xbox live) A while back I was playing BioShock during the summer, and I was hanging out with this young girl named Sarah and her friends. We used to all have fun playing GTA4 and Rainbow Six Vegas 2, but all good things must eventually come to an end. The person that ended are fun times was an "Emo" kid, who's gamer tag at the time was "Bladz of Fire". So one evening after coming home from volunteering at the nearby soccer camp in central park, I decided to relax and explore the wonderous halls of Rapture, drink some lemonade and talk to my live friends. Sadly Bladz of Fire happended to be there, and as all angsty 13 year olds, was trying to get as much attention as he could. What he did in a nutshell was this: He had pretended his XBOX LIVE GIRL FRIEND had left him, and he planned to kill himself. So what followed was him freaking out about 50 people and sending ALOT of irrating messages, including a picture of a BB GUN. *Insert Facepalm here* So me being curious, and tired I tried to see what was up. I began to read his profile and learned that this kid is either really stupid or crazy, why? He claimed in his profile he was a "Level 55 Soul Reaper" in real life. *Double Facepalm* So, I asked if he trully belived this, and this my dear Escapists was his response: "I plan to kill myself so I may return to the Soul Society and live a better life, hopefully I don't become a hollow" *Mega Facepalm* So me laughing hysterically, left the party and almost suffocated laughing for three minutes.
After an hour I decided to come back to see what I had missed, and what was a simple rant somehow found its way to Youtube. Yes when I came back I couldn't bare to listen to this kid anymore, and so I tried to calm him down. Well after listing to him talk I spoke up and said this, "Its been an hour and your still reading your crappy poetry, either shut up or go kill youtself" (Opps I posted the prematurely) So after he told me to shut up, and I continued to play Bioshock, I went on a bit of a rant. What I had then said ended up on youtube thanks to a guy in the party. Here is the video of me:
Yes so now he has changed his gamer tag and people want me arrested because they think he shot himself. So there you have it people, my little "Hate Crime" as some are calling it. (I didn't realise pop culter counted as a race or political group) so here is a follow up: after everyone did leave, the kid then said this: "I only did this to see which of my friends care about me, I'm a good actor and I can't belive you fell for it". Did anyone care? Nope. So after 50 or so people told him to go to hell, he changed his gamer tag and a week later got ban from live for unknown reasons. Which is bad for me, since there is no more record of him people have started assuming the worst.
Anyone have any thoughts or similar experiences?
Edit: I'm just sharing a very wierd story about a so called "Emo kid", and yes he was not afraid to call himself that. Also when I'm tired, and fustrated I tend to just tune in and out of conversations, which is why in the video I yelled some stuff about Bioshock. If only everything he had said was on camera.
