I'm pretty sure this is the only FPS I've ever been actually looking forward to. That is because of the greatness that was KZ2. The heavy feel of the controls was great, it really worked well. I hope that hasn't changed too much for this one. John Funks comment about it makes me a little worried.

Well assuming the demo he was playing was the multiplayer I was suprised to see him say that the cross hair was going past the target becuase I saw another video of gameplay and a person was getting easy kills with the sight (yes sights work better in this one it seems!)

Whats a "generic" FPS? If something is generic its a bland copy of something. I've never played or seen a game that is like Killzone 2. You probably meant to say that you didn't like the style of the game. Its in no way 'generic'.
Well, even as a fan of Killzone one of it's most unfortunate aspects is it was made to be safe, although I think calling it generic makes the game sound like it's average when it is a triple A title.

Wolfenstein was generic, Call of Juarez and Fear 2 were generic, but Killzone 2 is way better then those three.

But the series isn't doing anything we haven't seen in a lot of 360 FPS titles, and something, something risky would have been appreciated. I mean the series has always meant to be the PS3's Halo, and even though I personally choose this over Halo doesn't mean other's feel that way considering how popular it is.

Although I'm sure Killzone 3 will be better than Medal of Honor, Black Ops, I would say I rather get KZ3 than Halo Reach but that's asking for too much beef from people here....0o

KZ3 is my most anticipated FPS (over Reach of course) but I too wouldn't say it on the gaming forum for fear of having my inbox spammed with how MW2 players think the controls sucked.

I loved Killzone 2. It was the only war game I've ever played that felt like I was actually in a war. I liked the singleplayer (stupid Rico) but the game shines in multiplayer. I'm looking forward to Killzone 3.
