I was just sitting and thinking about this.

How many of us actually pay for emulated games like for instance the Genesis/Mega Drive Collection, Taito Legends or Midway Arcade Hits to name 3

Many people I've found say they wouldn't because they can get the rom from the internet and play it that way, while others say they prefer to rebuy it.

Me I don?t mind buying some emulated games but my gripe has always been you have to rebuy the collection again on every console gen, cant there be some discount if you bought it on the PS2 when you want it on the PS3 I don?t know.

But what's your thoughts on this?

Meh. Pretty much all the stuff I play on emulators is long since out of print, so there's no real point to me buying it. I suppose part of that's due to the ease of emulation on PC and since I have never owned a console, but hey, them's the breaks.
