So I'm reading the usual polls about favourite paying methods, p2p, f2p, buy game no subscription. But no mention of my by far favourite: buying 20 hours of gametime. Specifically like the one in the original All Points Bulletin, where your gametime were only spent while in the action district, giving you full freedom to hang around in the social district even long after your subscription ran out. This was perfect since the game doesn't require the same time investment as traditional mmo's. You don't have to be max level and there are no weekly raids. I could play whenever I wanted and how often I wanted.
The free-to-play model in APB: Reloaded ruined it. You buy a gun for in-game cash that only lasts a week. Which obligates you to play a certain amount of time to get back the money you spent or you won't be able to buy anything next time. Horrible and completely against the spirit of the game.
Not sure if there is any discussion value to this, I just want to promote this payment option since I like it. I'm sure many f2p players are casuals who are afraid of not getting their money's worth with monthly subscriptions. And I'd rather just play the game instead of messing around in the cash shop. Some f2p games get confusing when the vendors sell some swords for gold and some for euros and you end up thinking about money all the time and if you'd rather have a snickers bar or a golden platemail instead of immersing yourself in the experience.
