Meh, another failport. Nothing new. I'll hold out for D3 to get my PC hack and slash on.

Oh wait, it's Obsidian...that explains EVERYTHING.
I have no idea why they keep trying to make games. They have like 1 good game (Fallout Vegas) and even then they took the engine, graphics and everything else from previous game. That they didn't make.

Obsidian has been nothing but a failure and murderer of great franchises in my eyes. It keep getting worse and worse...

Never mind the controls, this game is to diablo 2 as flavourless cider is to vodka. Torchlight had more character options than this.
Improved controls won't make this into a worthwhile game.
Maybe because you are comparing 2 hack and slash games (Diablo and Torchlight) to an action RPG. Dungeon Siege did a 90 degree flip from HnS it started out from on PCs, then Obsidian decided to consolize it to make more money and turned it into a typical action RPG. Minus all the good things DS had.

How long have people been waiting for Obsidian to bite the bullet and put up a job posting for a programmer who can make decent controls on the PC. It's not like we haven't been experiencing this since Fallout 3.

Didn't buy this game myself prior to reading reviews, primarily because it's from Obsidian. Thinking I'm just not going to bother, perhaps I'll take a look at it in a few months once the price has dropped.

Gah yet another example of the PC port being the retarded cousin of the release family. Until developers realize they need a whole different interface for the mouse and keyboard than for a gamepad all PC ports will continue to suck.

They got a nerve,to tell PC gamers to plug in a controller for smoother controls.

After they ruined the Dungeon Siege franchise(which wasn't half bad),now we get this.

I have lost faith in some developers.

Oh look, more bitching about Obsidian....

I thought that people might've chosen where they stood by this point.

I don't have a big problem with the PC controls. Ignore what they tell you about using the right mouse button to move and just WASD around. Using a G13 helps a lot too, but not more than other PC games.

What's wrong with comparing it to D1/2 and Torchlight? Both are "action RPGs", which is perhaps the biggest umbrella genre, making it useless for comparison. Also, I can compare Tetris to Modern Warfare 2 if I'd like, so could you.

Why Obscidian, why must you make us hate you?

We want to love you, but you never reciprocate!

If you compare Tetris to Modern Warfare 2, OR Dungeon Siege 3 to DS 1/2, Diablo 1/2 or Torchlight, it's the same thing.

Basically comparing two games from two genres makes NO sense. Especially when you are not even comparing graphics, or mechanics, but games as whole.

Seriously, DS3 is so different from previous games in the series, it's a whole different genre altogether.

Obsidian has got to be the laziest AAA studio in gaming today.

Absolutely despicable.

Or you know, they could let you change button mapping, or allow non 360 controllers. And can you believe in one of the 3 patches in the 3 days sense it's release they actually reversed the camera controls. I really REALLY hope things like that are all the fault of deadlines and that they are not just that incompetent.

I have a bunch of other things to say about the game but I don't feel like typing them all up again so I'll just link where I said them the first time,

I'm just put off whenever developers act surprised or casual about things that are so horrendous that you wouldn't have missed it if you were blindfolded.

It's not just a "oh, we were going to do it, but we decided it wasn't important enough to fix it before shipping it out" kind of thing...
