PC game voice chat (What is your setup?)

I recently purchased an Astro gaming headset [http://www.astrogaming.com/products/detail/68/A40-Audio-System-MGS4-Edition/] mainly because my current headset a Sennheiser EH-250 [http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-EH-250-Digital-DJ-Headphones/dp/B00067OEPE] is getting really ratty after years of heavy use. (Foam peeling off and getting in my ears mainly.) The main thing being the fact that I did not feel like getting a separate microphone for doing voice chat in PC games or IM as my desk is already cluttered. How do the rest of you go about voice chat through PC games or things like Skype?

I just use the headset mic. It's worked for me for a year now. I don't really want to get a desktop mic, my desk is already cluttered with enough shit.

Headset, desktop mics are really annoying, I swear whenever I have a skype call with my friend it sounds like he's murdering his keyboard.

Usually I use my razer carcharias for gaming and vent but talking on skype i just use my laptop speaker ad camera.
