The game may work just fine but after 7 360's died on me, I think I'm better off using the 360 controllers on my PC.daveman247 said:Ohhh, you mean PS3? i just assumed you meant 360 versions since thats what you mentionedSnotnarok said:Not the controller, pop any 2D PS2 game into the PS3 and you'll see there's a delay really quickly. Megaman X Collection, Sonic Collection even Sonics Ultimate Genesis Collection has a delay, which in those games isn't really a good thing to have .
I cant speak for the playstation versions for those games. But i know the genesis collection on the 360 works just fine![]()
Ah, I only saw the video of FM, and assumed you wanted it to be a console port. Sorry about thatrhizhim said:it served merely as an example to Ninjamedic why complex trading mechanics, like you find on space 4x games would be the horror on consoles.Latenz1134 said:^^.Kahunaburger said:
but he says it can be done and easily implemented in only 2 hours.
here is the conversation so far
i am sorry but make one first in only 2 hours and i will crown you as a development god.I wouldn't and haven't. Although that could have something to do with the fact that I don't have the attention span of a magpie.
Yes, you could just make a menu design for the controller in about, say, 2 hours work.trust me. you dont want to do that on a console.
people had 'problems' using skyrims User Interface.
and, a bit excessive but how would you translate this?
Pfft. Implement a good radial or pop up menu and you can be using way-points and what not in no time. So, yeah, screw whatever people say. It can be done.Hammeroj said:No, let's not screw what everyone says. The method of selection on consoles is incredibly unwieldy. The game is not exactly fast paced, but it's not a "line up your troops and see what happens" type of deal, either. Speed does matter. It can't be done if you don't want the game to be an awkward joke.Inkidu said:Total War games could be ported to consoles. It's not like they're exactly fast paced. Screw what anyone says. Not until there are controllers for consoles that tap into your brain. Or until a majority of console players start using mouses and keyboards.
Basically the team created a new studio but couldn't get the license, so they are making what basically amounts to not-STALKER: The MMO.A Satanic Panda said:Wait wait wait wait... STALKER 2 is getting canceled again?!
Damn it. There goes one of my favorite franchise.
OT: Maybe some of the more casual games for the PC would do well. I din't think games like STALKER would go well with console gamers.
It will be fine, it might need to turn settigns down to get a playable framerate and it will need the be played on "console servers" because a decent player with a mouse would decimate a decent player with a controller. But it can be done and a lot of people would love it. That doesn't that a mouse is always superior, a decent player with a controller would pwn a decent one with keyboard + mouse on SF IV for example.bahumat42 said:The problem i have with tribes on the console is that controllers dont have the precision to turn on a dime and be able to aim while your doing so.
Not to mention the fact that the ingame speeds may be too much for the xbox/ps3 hardware.
Umm. They did that. On topic not counting RTS I think almost anything can work.Random Fella said:I think the witcher 2
Might be hard with all the buttons though
Which is also doable on the PC, it's just nobody ever doesSuperNova221 said:I guess the answer would be any game that would be enjoyable to play split screen on the couch, nice and relaxed with some friends.
