Alright, so for 6 months I had cable and I could download super fast, and it did go out once in awhile, but not too often. Now, I'm using DSL(supposedly 3mpbs, more like 1). The downloads are incredibly slow, but I can still play multiplayer games fine, if only on a smaller selection of servers. To my question: On DSL, it actually seems like there is less lag between user input to the action happening. For example, when you turn the corner and there is an enemy sitting there aiming at you. On cable, I would usually die in this situation because the enemy appeared quicker. On DSL, it seems I win more of these microsecond duels. Is this perhaps because of something to do with DSL or is it all in my head?

Erm, I do not know, it probably has to do with the connection type rather than speed. I know DSL is NAT (whatever the hell that is...), but I do not know what type cable is... That may be the reason.
