ok going to keep this short but i am happily going to shell out a bombshell for my new i7 computer. i already have:
case: Silverstone RV01
psu: corsair tx 850w

and the rest doesn't matter but will the ati 5970 be helped IF i run a ati 5770 for phisix(1)? or will it cripple my system's fps rate(2)? if it will cripple or not, your responce will receve many thanks for saving me a hundrend pounds or increseing my fps.

Do you mean running them both in crossfire?

I'm not positive but very sure you need to have 2 of the same card to do that with.

Absolutely no point in using the HD 5770 as a PhysX card; firstly, PhysX is an NVIDIA-exclusive feature (well, without modified drivers), and secondly, yes, it probably will cripple your frames-per-second to be running an HD 5770 in the same system as an HD 5970.
ok then thanks i guess i shall not but one then, thanks!
