PC help, anyone?

When i play full screen games (just just online games) etc.

randomly my monitor will just mess up and say "no Signal"

sometimes it does it straight away sometimes it does it into the game, as in ill be doing a quest and then it will just mess up and i die...well my character does

so, yeah, any help anyone?

Humm, mine does the that on occasion too, I suppose just check all the cables are secure and in the correct sockets, I know I had moved my desktop once and when I reattached the monitor one side of the connector was loose.

Not sure about how to solve it otherwise ^^'

Try running it in a window, that's what I do. I think that windowed mode is less prone to crashes.

Your game is probably trying to use a resolution your monitor can't handle. Check your game options and set the resolution/refresh rate to something more conservative, like, 1024x768 @ 60hz.

It would help to know at least what type of monitor it is and your video card brand/model.

hmmm either a driver issue, the game and your monitor are at different rez's, they should be at the same, the cable isn't in correct of the card is not sitting in it's slot properly

Try and make sure its all plugged in. It sounds simple but you never know.

Question... My Video Card won't run the one game that I would give anything in the world to have my laptop play. Kotor 2. I asked a local Computer repair place about upgrading my video card and he said it couldn't be done. Is it just that HE can't do it, or is it a permanent problem... I like my laptop. Other than my video card problem it is perfect for me, and I would hate to have to get a different one....
