(PC)Help = Fallout 3, Won't even start...

Ok Heres the deal.

Ive looked around, but nobody seems to have the same crash issue, or atleast hasn't reported it. Anything similar has no helpfull responces that actually seem to work.

Fallout 3 arrived in the post this morning, so i installed it. All ok, On clicking "Play" on the launcher causes a small black window to appear in the corner, Then "Fallout 3 has had an error and has had to close". Changing the settings does nothing, And patches apparently make things worse. Also, don't link me to Fallout 3 nexus please ive tried that, And none of the downloads work =(

- Windows XP, Windows 7 (32), Windows 7 (64) ?
- What graphic card ?
- Are your drivers up to date ?
- Have you patched Fallout to version 1.7 ?
- And most important : what solutions have you tried already ?

3.) ATI Radeon HD 4800
4.) Yup
5.) Yesaroo
6.) Restarting, Reinstalling, Patching it (Official one only..)

The problems of that fellow were different, but who knows, maybe one of proposed solutions will help you ? You may want to skip #6 (ini trick) - it's for Windows 7 not XP.

If nothing will help, we'll think about something different.
