PC/Mac escapists. I need some hardware recommendations

Hello my fellow escapists and a happy holidays to all. Say, I recently bought Psychonauts on the app store for my mac, and knowing that there are at least a few pc gamers here, I was wondering if any of you had recommendations for gaming pads for a Mac. It's a macbook pro and is fairly new. I've always been a console gamer, not to mention as anyone whose played a game like psychonauts will tell you that an analogue stick is definitely preferable
