WOW. That is an astonishing improvement to the visuals of that game. The comparison between the videos is phenomenal. I've only played it on PS3 though, and it looked terrible. Too bad for me.
I think I'd be something that the dwarfs from the plains can only build something like that. Meaning it will have to be a custom job. $3500(NZD)Tactical Fugitive said:System requirements?

agreed on these, although i think i have the requirements to run that beautiful mod just fine, although i don't have the game from steam and i dont really feel like "possibly melting" my crossfired 5770'sWitty Name Here said:Oh my, they managed to figure out how to Scrub Fallout from the atmosphere? Anyways, back on topic, this mod looks excellent, shame that us Console Players wont get it...
for me, its more that they buffed the shit out of the depressing ass shithole that it looked like at first, not even necessarily the graphics being sharper or anything else really, its just someone took a clean ass buffer and waxed+buffed the hell out of the whole damn game's environments, which earns a +5 in my book so i might just consider getting the game if it can fix that with the newest patch.Frotality said:uhh...really? i never figured gtaIV needed a graphical overhaul, and i still dont. seems to take down the frame rate a fair bit (which is to be expected); and for a sandbox game, smooth play is FAR more important than how reflective the pavement is....
cant believe i seem to be the minority in this, but...no, improved graphics are not nearly enough to make me get back into a game that got boring before i finished it. less wonky movement, less 5-tons-in-the-trunk steering, more actual sandbox stuff to do and less taking your cousin to lunch....thats a mod i could get into.

really, though, if you compare the two they now look about the same... but Saints Row 3 is going to be better by default (purple dildo swords... nuff said)
I suggest you take a look at the modding section of gta 4Frotality said:uhh...really? i never figured gtaIV needed a graphical overhaul, and i still dont. seems to take down the frame rate a fair bit (which is to be expected); and for a sandbox game, smooth play is FAR more important than how reflective the pavement is....

Check your TV, my PC copy of GTAIV has blue skies, unmodded. As does the PS3 copy my girlfriend owns.Witty Name Here said:Oh my, they managed to figure out how to Scrub Fallout from the atmosphere?
