I have both.
I mostly use my PC, but I also have to say that my Xbox is better for some things. For instance, I would rather play a Shooter on my Desktop, but all of my friends will no doubt buy the game on the XBox. Thus, I'd rather buy it on Xbox also to play with my friends.
I would rather play an RPG on my desktop, but I'd then have to deal with the installation, set up, and even then there's no guarantee that it'll run. With a console game, I can easily just pop it in and play.
