This might be a weird thing to ask but I'm curious as the P&J isn't a very accepted combination where I live(that I know of).

My question is what kind/flavour of jam do you use ?
Which do you prefer ?
Is there a combination that you find really disgusting ?

Really? I know you Dutch people like peanutbutter, I guessed you had jam with it too. We, your southern Belgian neighbours, probably hate it with a passion though...

Anyway, when I was in the US I had some Pb&J (to clarify, I believe it's called peanut butter and JELLY in the US, not jam) and I believe the jam/jelly was a red colour, strawberries or cherries right? Not sure though.

Disgusting? I find peanutbutter disgusting enough on itself :p
Didn't Elvis ate Peanut butter + banana + bacon sandwiches? God, that sent shivers down my spine (and not the good kind too).

Jam? No. I prefer jelly. Jam is just so icky and runny. I'll put grape or strawberry JELLY on my PBJs, but if jam is all I have I will throw in the trash and make a bologna sandwich instead.

I've never had PB&J, it sounds weird and disgusting. Peanut butter & apple is more my thing.

Mmm, super crunchy peanut butter and peeled red apple slices on fresh white bread. Now that's a good sandwich.

I always go for peanut butter and Hagelslag.

Both extremely Dutch things I suppose.

I hadn't tried peanut butter and jam until about a year ago and now I'm addicted. It is one of the greatest food combos ever! I used crunchy peanut butter and strawberry jam, keeping it sweet and simple.

I actually LOVE Peanut butter and Jam sandwiches, toasted or no. I use Strawberry. Hope this is a mind-blowing revelation to you.

Just a point to avoid confusion. Jam is what it's called in England, and I guess most of Europe too.

In the United States, I think, they call it jelly, cause they're weird.

Only tried it a few times, after my sister bought some peanut butter. It's not really something you'd see in the homes of your average Swede. Believe the brand was Skippy's. Had strawberry jam on it.
As for what I thought... Well, it was really good. Got a bit hard to breathe after a while though.

Also, they call what we call Jelly, Jell-O. Which makes it even more confusing.
