"Pencil's Down" the blizzard writing competition

I saw this on the News and community board a few days ago, and being the avid writer/ blizzard enthusiast that I am, decided to enter. As we speak, i'm still procrastinating from that story but what I would like to know is: Did anyone else from the escapist enter the contest?

If so, what universe did you write in and why?

I thought about entering so some poor sod would have to read my poor excuse of writing and storytelling.

Then I thought I've got much better uses for my time.

Such as posting on forums.

I'd never enter a writing competition, I think they're just an excuse for publishing houses bereft of ideas to get inspiration and story ideas without having to pay a scriptwriter.
