Prior to joing the Escapist website, my primary site was Youtube, which still comes pretty high up on the list. I got used to the ways of people there, and accepted most of them. However, when I joined this site, I was exposed to so much more intelligent responses to people's opinions, including balanced responses, the like of which are very rare on youtube. It's quite a contrast to the "Lol! This r gud vid, u r a g0d!" or "Dis r suk u must dai cuz u r bad at vidios", commonly found there. It just goes to show that different types of people can be found on different sites.
So yeah, I was just posting to state that fact, as well as enquire if anyone else has noticed anything similar, or if anyone has any thoughts on the subject?
Oh, and i'm not bashing all youtube users. Some (sadly, a minority), do have more than a speck of brain. But the rest don't really.
