People You Don't Like

Or rather, dealing with them.

When you encounter people who, for whatever reason (good or otherwise) make your skin crawl and blood boil, how do you deal with them, or what do you do to them?

Personally, I try to remain as polite and civil as possible, but without ever speaking to them. My logic of course, being that if I absolutely abhor them and seethe with unbridled rage when they're around, if I don't risk saying anything, I don't fly off the handle and start yelling and berating them in public, thus saving face (for both of us, especially when the person is well-loved).

Note: in the interest of not getting banned, this isn't a place to say something about specific individuals. This is more of a "how do you handle people you dislike?" case.

I try to be polite and civil. Preferably if I can sneak some sort of insult in.

Unless they've really pissed me off, then I just hulk out.

I pretend to be needlessly dense so that they'll get frustrated with me, ie sabotaging jokes in a group setting, asking for unnecessary instructions, etc. It works like a charm. If they're already a pain in the ass to deal with then I see no reason to worry about what their opinion of me is.

EDIT: this tactic only works in real life, online it's easier just to ignore.

I act as if they don't exist.

It's worked so far, and I don't plan on changing it. If I absolutely have to, I am prepared to talk to them, but I try to keep it monosyllabic. If they greet me, I'll usuallly just walk right by. This way, they're (hopefully) aware of what I think about them, without me actually having to explain my dislike, and I don't have to trouble myself with actually speaking to them. Everybody wins.

Ignore them. They usually get banned after a while.

In real life I just stay away from them. No reason their stupidity should have to affect me.

I just do the good old ignore them and only speak to them when absolutely required: as in when they ask me something specifically. Only problem is this person is good friends with my tood friends, and it makes it awkward.

I can just tell if a guy is cool or a jackass. It also helps that if they try to pull thier shit on me, I can shake it off as a joke infornt of the ladies, then knock some head in the bathroom.

Depends, If they are my equal in terms of status(i.e another student or something) I ignore them, unless they speak to me, then I hand out cool insulting remarks, if they are in charge of me, I act like there is no problem.

I tend to tell people who I don't like I don't like them
It makes life alot easier, plus I don't like bitching, so I tell people to their face
If they don't like it, no skin off my teeth

If the person is unintelligent and seek to anger me i calmly insult their right to live and their overall quality as a human being in a way which confuses them. If the person is intelligent i tend to talk civily while slipping in implications of stupidity and derelict-ness on their part whiule remaining completely inconspicuous about it.

EDIT: If it is a teacher i make 'suggestions' about things in which i believe them to be flawed without mentioning directly my opinion of them and use what i say as 'my opinion of a topic' thereby insulting their intellect/methods without being obvious.

But sometimes i do get super pissed off and i juz tell them that they're dumb and tell them to go away.

Same here, there are some exceptions, like if a teacher is actively annoying me I'll treat them like any other student I don't like.

Sorry for the double post but I wanna share this story. I'm a big guy, Im 6'2 230 pounds. I'm pretty ripped, I've worked out alot. Thing is I always look to improve my body. SO after spring break I had gained like 6 pounds. In my gym class we were doing gymnastics. I chose to sit out and work out with a couple other guys. On mandatory gymnastics dates there was this kid who couldn't do anything. I felt bad for him, I mean I couldn't do any of the acrobatic shit either, I mean I'm just too tall for the sport. So I would help him out and help him up and such. Later that week we were all walking back to the lockerroom. I was explaining to a firend why I wasn't doing gymnastics. I heard him tell another one of my firends (he had none) that its becasuse Im fat. I was pissed, I put in my time helping this little shit whou couldn't even lift his own weight to jump and he was making fun of me. Fuck that. With the weekend coming up I had time to think, I decided I was still angry. Next monday in the lockerroom I picked the kid up and slammed him into a locker, then through him on the floor. I told him to apologize but he kept on pretending that he hadn't done anything. I told him how I heard him and my friend told me about it too. He just bitched. I stomped on his head a couple of times and made him kiss my shoe. When the other boys finally broke us up he was pretty messed up. He had a black eye and his mouth was bleeding. He didn't show up to class. Later some guys tried to talk me into fighting him. I said no, and know that I made him apologize everything was equal. After that, the kid and I never spoke again. I feel bad for him but I still think hes a little shit. I don't know If im right or wrong. All I know is that I would def do it again. Sorry for the long post, but I need to vent

I think i'm the only person i know who enjoys this, but when i know someone is deliberately trying to get to me i act really nice towards them. like disturbingly and obviously fake nice, i wave every time i see them and pay them random compliments and keep asking them if they're ok.

there's nothing quite as satisfying as seeing someone realise their attempt to piss you off has blown up in their face...
