Hell yes! And now the Golden Eye, please?
Umm... no thank you. Have you played that game? That is a good-for-its-time, but Perfect Dark outclassed it in every regard.

Still opinions are opinions, so I am not saying you are wrong... just that I wholly disagree!
Not so sure. I played Goldeneye again a few weeks ago and still loved it.

Personally I always liked this game over Goldeneye 007. I can't wait for it to come out.
The only thing I don't like is that the game is going to suck achievement-wise. I quite like achievements and Perfect Dark is quite a big game with lots of unlockables and extra non-campaign content. The 200Gs are probably going to count for more than most games 1000Gs do.
Well, at least we'll finally get recognition for finding the cheese.

I really can't wait for this, it sounds awesome. I loved the original.

Think I might get this. Looks like the graphics have been updated well without changing the feel too much and 60 fps is a great selling point. I can't be happy playing Sci-Fi shooting games on XBox that do things like drop to 20 fps in combat, who could?

Yes. I've played that game. With my friends too. It has a lot of nostalgic effect on me. And it would be fun to play deatmatch again with them.

I was always quite skeptical of non-contemporary FPS's due to the abominable control systems, but it seems that this might help introduce me to a whole new environment. It will certainly be interesting to experience the aspects that caused the original cult following.

Rare really are just astoundingly imaginative designers.

And they announced this right after I lost my 360.

Godsdammit I would've actually bought and played this, now I'm a sad panda.

What did they do to her face? And Elvis, he's so...disgusting to look at. Personally, this 'redesign' is enough to make me not get it. Fortunately, I still own a working 64 and have no problem with hooking it up again, so this is just a waste of money to me. Also, that trailer sucked compared to the original.

You mean Rareware. Rare is not the company who made PD. They are the ones who made PD Zero, and if you care to check it out, it was a load of shit.

The original trailer just oversexed the game and did little to show how the game was. Aside from 'Joanna' drinking her early morning Mountain Dew and slapping on her sports bra, noting really happened.

Oh, and her face didn't look so good in the original. Looked like a really feminine boy.

I suppose I understand nostalgia, but I just remember when PD came out I could not go back to GoldenEye, it was just too much regressing.

I was always confused by the people who did not think PD was better, but there is no accounting for taste.

Perfect Dark on N64 is one of my favorite games ever so getting the chance to play it with a non-N64 controller is a blessing by itself. The HD graphics are icing on the cake.

PS. GoldenEye and Perfect Dark are equally awesome.

Disappointed really. Johanna Dark looks...awful. I might get it anyway but it's a slim chance.
Forget the Uncanny Valley, she looks like she fell into the Uncanny Marinaras Trench

Yet i'm still interested in it if just for the fact that they updated the multiplayer to allow netplay.

You do know they're the same company with a different name, right? These things do tend to happen.

Anyway I agree I'm not feeling the graphical updates to the player models, yet everything else seems pretty nice. Plus no slowdown in the splitscreen.

NICE! Can't wait. Now do the same for a Goldeneye remake and I can call all my old friends from the N64 days to come over and play for days.
This. A million times, this.

So I wasn't the only one huh? And that's why I might get it online play something Banjo-tooie should have had.

To all the people who cry "GoldenEye" (which I admit was great, I just thought PD did everything better) you can use *ALL* the GoldenEye weapons in this game, there are some maps too, but it is online 60FPS deathmatch and their is a weapon loadout called "Golden Age" {or something like that} and it is all there. You can even unlock the GoldenEye crosshair, just like in the original PD.

I just think for ten bucks you could do a lot worse!

Nice to see it. Makes me want to play the old Perfect Dark again.
The framerate is almost impossible to play through. Still fun, just soup in co-op.

Well, I don't own a 360 and I've never played Perfect Dark, so I'm not really too jazzed up for this. I have heard it's pretty much a better version of Golden Eye, though, and I loved that. Honestly, though, it looks kind of ugly for 1080p. Maybe it's just me, but I think they would've been better off just rereleasing the original and giving fans a blast of pure nostalgia rather than spending the money to remake it.
Nothing beats James Bond, its not better, you can't beat classic Bond villians in multiplayer, or the levels
