Perfect Dark Zero

Just looking for something to play and kind of forgot about Perfect Dark (I got my 360 a year or two after launch), I got the demo and thought it was rather terrible but I do rememebr a lot of people saying some good and bad things (majority good) about this game when it was released. But people could have just been impressed by the new system and graphics..

Question is, does this game still have any appeal or is it very dated and or crap compared to what games we have available now?

Im tossing up whether to get this or Kameo. They are both really cheap so i dont think it will be much of a loss if they are lemons.

The single player was pretty furstrating alone.
Co-op/Online were pretty fun, but... you'd have to find people which would probably be difficult.

Headshots really, really hurt. >.>

The only real flaw in it, is just how hard it is. Even on the easy setting the game is frustratingly hard. The game can be a lot of fun, but if you are used to easy first person shooters like halflife2/Halo/COD4 the difficulty of PDZ can throw you off

Horrible game, stick to the original on N64 if you want to play Perfect Dark. For your 360 definitely go with Kameo.

It's a huge disappointment.

Considering the first one had such a depth in customization for multiplayer, PDZ's restrictiveness is also a huge blow.

Yeah, it's pretty awful. For it's time it might have been good I suppose. But it had the wow factor mostly because it was on a newly released system. And they probably had to atleast make one of the launch titles seem half decent.

I know what you mean. I had a pretty tough time with PDZ... UNTIL I picked up that beautiful, beautiful RCP-90. As soon as I used that baby's special ability, I breezed through the rest of the game with, as my friend puts it, "Cylon-like efficiency." I went through the campaign from start to finish in 4 hours.
