Do you go for 100% completion in video games? It might feel rewarding, but it's never mattered so much to me as it does some of my friends who obsess of Lego star wars and stuff.

Oh btw, 10,000th thread (I think)

Depends on the game and how enjoyable it is to get 100%

I was able to get every flag in Assassin's Creed, but can't see myself chasing down every pigeon in GTA 4.

The thought of dedicating enough of my life to get good enough at Ninja Gaiden to get an S rank on the uber difficulty gives me seizures.

Nah too much work to get 100% for me. After beating the game I lose all interest and don't bother playing it for another 2-3 years for a few minutes.

I have a problem finishing games for some reason. I get to what is clearly the final, massive dungeon with a final, massive monster and I just stop playing the game. Some of my favourite games are ones where I'm saved standing at the entrance to the final area. Planescape, Baldur's Gate II, SMT: Nocturne. Hell, I was just replaying Gabriel Knight and he's now standing at the final area waiting for me to give him a hand and I know I'm not going to bother finishing it.

As a RPG fan, yes I like to, I try to. But I have only done it on a few games so far. I'll get there eventually

Depends on the game. I had to catch 'em all in Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow. And in Sonic Adventure 2 I completed everything for the 10th Anniversary Green Hill Zone in 3D.

I have a problem where at some point i get bored of playing the game (even the best game).

In general i play a game for short periods and I admit that i find video gaming a bit overwhelming at times (i'm fairly easy to panic on screen compared to my composed-ish self in real life). I' finding raveholm tiring so completing a game is a honor to the game (which is why im intent on completion of the half life series.
