I'm having a lot of fun with Persona 4 for reasons it would take me a while to explain, if only because there is so much to do in the game. If you have played it, you probably know what I mean, but I'll get to the heart of the matter: the combat is giving me a few problems. The dungeons and enemies aren't too difficult, but I have been hammered three times on this last floor (of the second real dungeon) because I ran into an encounter that just pounded my elemental weaknesses, took another turn, and did it again! I have been mixing and playing around with new personae, but are there any safe ways to avoid ragequitting?

Grit those teeth and go fusing some persona

It's not hard if you know what to do

of course, the knowing part it's not obvious

Nope, that is part of the game. Just keep experimenting with persona fusions. But running into a random encounter that destroys you out of nowhere will happen sometimes.
