Oh, I've thought of another gripe. If this game follows on from the end of Persona 5, why is no ones Personas in an evolved state? Are we to assume that the cannon is that Joker never socialised with anyone outside of missions?
I think it's because the initial persona are more recognisable and 'iconic' than the ultimate forms, along with the fact that the player can miss the ultimate forms in P5. Similarly, in P4 you had to max confidants to gain the ultimates, and in Persona 4 Arena, the P4 cast all had their initial personas. Conversely the P3 characters all had their ultimates in P4A because their ultimate are tied to unmissable story events, rather than optional social links.

The second thing is that The Phantom Thieves never change their clothes.
They do change clothes. Yukatas, bathing suits, they change, just not that often. Road trip in a small rv with a lot of people means you cant pack a lot. Lol.

To be honest i dont remember them changing clothes in p5 much at all. Just for special events.

You are probably further along than I am, but I'm pretty much at the end of the Sendia Jail and they all seem to have been wearing the same thing since the start of the game. They did change clothes in P5, they didn't have the biggest wardrobes but they did change on day to day basis.

Yathzee liked it and is apparently questioning if he's in Denial about liking JRPGs.

It did make me wonder if I should actually get around to picking up P5 on sale at some point. A lot of people like it a lot but it apparently it takes like 100 hours to get through it and that's.....quite a time commitment.

Get Persona 5 Royal because they changed some things to make it a smoother journey. It is long but i beat it in 75hours. Milage will vary, but a lot of that time is if you listen to the cut scenes. You can cut hours off the game by just reading the dialog and skipping the voice lines.

But that length is about right for most jrpg's in general.

As i approach the end credits for the second time and have the platinum, this is going to be in the top games of the year 100%. 2021 would have to be an insane year for it to get knocked out of the top spots.
