GODDAMNIT, JAPAN!
Dammit! Ninja'ed. Also, Japan, I really commend you for being able to make stuff that would potentially rile up the Moral Guardians somewhere else (i.e. America). *Is waiting to see the live-action version of the Gantz naked teleport*SachielOne said:Next, on "Things that will never be released in North America..."
But isn't that somewhat of a generalization? After all, this is being made by Atlus, who has no such track record whatsoever. It's like me saying that all american films are stupid and racist because of Michael Bay; it just doesn't hold up. That said, I do agree with one aspect of your post: this will be an important game which will most likely have repercussions as to how sexuality will be portrayed in future games. If Atlus does go the way many people seem to assume by this meagre preview, it would be a tragedy indeed.ANImaniac89 said:" Japan, if you can think of it, we can think of it being Fucked by an octopus." I may be misquoting slightly, but you get the idea Japan has a bit of a reputation of having lets say a stranger then most westerners view on sexuality (anyone who has seen Bible Black or almost any other hentai can agree). this aspect of Japan's culture could end up shooting the whole mature sexuality in gaming in the foot. Remember the controversy behind the game Rapelay? well as I have been lead to believe Rape is a very popular collective fantasy over in Japan which does not translate well over in the US.

Still, I have every faith that this will be a memorable and quality gaming experience, as that is the only track record Atlus has.

that's the main question will it be release over here. doesn't matter if its good or not if its not released hereshadow skill said:I wanted Persona 5 but I'll take this if it turns out good and makes it stateside.
I would be crushed if I start hearing that it is godly and won't be making it stateside or otherwise receive english localization.tony2077 said:that's the main question will it be release over here. doesn't matter if its good or not if its not released hereshadow skill said:I wanted Persona 5 but I'll take this if it turns out good and makes it stateside.
