Damn it you beat me to it. It looks like they're broadcasting something there soon!JasonKaotic said:Yeah, this'll probably just be something to do with Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold. [sub][sub]It's still impossible to say that name and be taken seriously.[/sub][/sub]
Not that I'm not stoked for that too. I am. Very much so. Give it to me now.
Persona 5 is in the works too though so we can all hope for something soon. Right? Right?
Edit: Hey guys, site's changed! There's a big box you can click on to go to another page now!
Don't understand a word of it though, it's all in Japanese.
Hmm ... let me get a look of that trailer.hazabaza1 said:For anyone who missed it, here's the big announcement.
Looks like a 3DS exclusive bringing together the cast of Persona 3+4 in a cuter artstyle.
I could've done without the artstyle change but otherwise... yeah I'm a little hyped.
Huh. Nice work finding that, didn't see those myself.StormShaun said:Announcement!
Okay, not only that but we got three other announcements.
- P4U: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold hitting PS3 in 2014 [http://www.destructoid.com/p4u-the-ultimax-ultra-suplex-hold-hitting-ps3-in-2014-266300.phtml?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter]
- Persona 4: Dancing All Night dancing to PS Vita [http://www.destructoid.com/persona-4-dancing-all-night-dancing-to-ps-vita-266302.phtml?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter]
- Persona 5
Okay, it seems it is a while off ... but then we have to ask "How long for the Western society?".
Other then that, okay I am hyped to see a whole lot more.
Well I am at least excited for most of the announcements ... maybe not the dance one, but i need to see the video of that. XD
It's one reason why I keep Twitter around.hazabaza1 said:Huh. Nice work finding that, didn't see those myself.
So I think 2014 will be the year of "Me being really fucking happy." The 3DS RPG, PERONSA 5 [sub][sub]and thankfully not on a next-gen console, don't want to buy one of those yet[/sub][/sub] and a fighting game that I may or may not play! Wooo!
I wonder howwill work out after the events of Persona 4.Playable Adachi

Almost every gaming site came out with it.
But yeah, they announced quite a lot.
I'm sure eager to hear more about the new 3DS game ... and of course Persona 5.
I have the feeling that the fighting expansion may just try to finish off the story line from the previous fighting game.
Now are you talking about Persona 5 or one of the other announcements?
I'll assume Persona 5 ... a Adachi member/protag would certainly prove to be interesting.
It seems that Persona 5 is aiming for a Slavery or Imprisonment theme.
They might be going for a darker theme just like Persona 3 or some of the other past games.
Right now I'm just going to hope for a setting not based in high school ... possibly in prison?
That would remind me of a few things.
hazabaza1 said:I meant in the fighting game. I assume that Adachi... lost his Persona? Maybe? I dunno actually, would he still have that or not? Because someone without a Persona in a Persona fighting game is a bit redundant.
But yeah I'm all up for some darker themes. I think Persona 4 was certainly a better game overall but the way Persona 3 was set out and some of the stuff it approached made it have some really well done impactful moments.

It would be great if there was a explanation for him. It doesn't really tell us if he lost his Persona or anything, I'll say that he didn't loss it at all ... but we have no idea since he hasn't been to the Persona world (TV world and etc) since his defeat.
But in the topic of Persona 5, it would be good to see him again as a member of the crew ... but he does have a version of Izanagi, so I doubt we would be allowed to play him. Still, I would be happy to see him and how his is dealing with his insane personality and all.
If Persona 5 turned out to have the gameplay of 4 (But improved/has taken feedback from P4) and a dark theme similar to P3 I would be a happy camper as well.
Now I wonder how many people will try to figure out what IS Persona 5 judging by that trailer ... man, I wish we could have seen the protag at least. >.<
Still, we are getting a lot of Persona stuff from ATLAS.
Of course we care mostly about the 3DS game, P5 and the Arena expansion ... I had no idea where that dance game came from. XD
hazabaza1 said:I think that unless the 3DS game does some story shenanigans the most we'll get of Adachi in P5 will be a reference, like the P3 stuff in P4. It'd certainly be interesting to see.
But yeah I don;t think they want to give us much of P5 yet. Enough to generate some conversation probably, and it seems to have worked. And at the rate that 3, then 4, then the portable versions and now this 3DS game have been going, I'm assuming gameplay will be more of the same but better. So yay! And from the chains and the red, I'm guessing it'll be darker. So yay!
Speaking of, didn't Persona 2 have a lot of red themes? Haven't played it myself, but a lot of people have been speculating that Nyartholep from P2 is behind everything in Arena. Could be a link.
And hey, the only reason I don't much care for the rhythm game is 'cos I don't have a Vita. If I did I'd be all up for it.
