Persona wish list

Well there is a lot of gender and sexuality issues on here.
I'll agree with them, but they are not on my lists.

- A good release date for Europe and Australia.
- No connection to Person 3,4 and Arena ... cameos/references are all cool with me.
- Deeper relationships. (I would like to actually take someone on a date.)
- Deeper social links.
- A much darker theme ... but seeing how it is about slavery or imprisonment, it will be good.
- Gameplay to be a mix of P3 and P4. I would like my guy to have the option to have any weapon.

Other then that, I am sure I will be okay with it.
I would say about customization but that would require a lot and would take away from something important.
Still, even if I don't get to choose what gender, look or voice they have ... can I still have the option to change their clothes.

Oh wow, I can't believe I forgot about this when I first wrote my post, but I'm going to be the weirdo out here and wish that they would bring back having multiple forms of physical damage.

And I agree with a good release date, though I can live with it if we don't see 5 until 2015 as long as we get Q sometime next year.

And finally, let Q be more of an alternate universe and not a part of the main series. Not because I have anything against it, but I'll probably nearly cry again at the end if it's the same timeline knowing that Makoto is going to...well. Yeah. Shut up, I literally woke up in the middle of the night and nearly cried the night I finished P3 thanks to that final cutscene. I'd like to think that maybe some form of Makoto doesn't get screwed over and gets to go on that date Ms. Toriumi.

Dammit, there's a lot I'd like to see out of these next few games, and we're getting four of them, so I'm expecting a fair bit of variety. Though the biggest thing of all really is a revamp of the social links, that's what I want most of all, though story is a high second.

Also I want Arena 2 to keep my darling Shadow Labrys on the roster. It's not going to happen, Shabrys is redundant to the story now that Labrys has Ariadne. *sigh* A man can dream...

I mean it's already been confirmed that she's still in the game, despite being canonically...y'know...I think they just did the same thing with BlazBlue where they were like "Yeah, I know it makes no sense for that character to not be around anymore but...eh, we already made her, and this game runs off the same engine so...why not. Let her be available for free play and junk."

Oh cool, over the past year i've stopped looking at any trailers or gameplay footage at all for no particular reason. I know Atlus has no concept of where Europe or the UK is on the globe so they have to launch an investigation for a year to find it so what's the point of even looking for trailers? I don't even know the theme of Persona 5 except they dropped the yellow for what, orangey red?

I guess I should be happy, BlazBlue had a reason to drop Mu-12 after CP and they didn't. Thank god because she's the only person I can play. No seriously, she's all I have. I have no idea how to deal with anything unless i'm playing her.

I actually have numerous backups in P4A, my Labrys practically overtook my Shabrys in skill, I can play Yu (but seriously, who *can't* play Yu?) I can play Naoto and I can almost play Aigis. Almost.

I trust Atlus will make P5 great, therefore my wishlist is about relatively minor stuff.

1: A worldwide release. Ok, that's impossible, I know. A slight delay then, but I'm begging you Atlus don't pull a SMT IV on me again.

2: Don't make the protagonist a Gary Stu. Tatsuya in P2 was an established badass who was 2cool4school and all the chicks wanted him, and you weren't even playing for 5 minutes. P3 MC excelled at everything he did, as did the P4 brotag. I get that you're the leader and he/she's supposed to be capable, but don't turn them into Superman please.

3: With regards to wish #2, make the protag proficient in only a single weapon class. Or at least set some requirements before he/she can use other weapons.

4: Bring back physical Pierce, Slash and Strike type attacks.

5: Make the juggling between Dungeon Crawling, stat grinding and Social Linking easier by allowing two actions a day the way P3 did. I always felt like I made wrong decisions the first time I played trhough P4 and actually hampered my enjoyment a lot.

6: Don't make me agree with the potentially dumb logic of a Social Link to get the most points to advance the Link. Yes I'm looking at you Kazushi. Deducting points for being an ass is understandable, but when it comes to honest opinions on serious matters I shouldn't be picking the option that they want to hear.

While on the subject, have less Kenji's. Have more Tanaka's and Akinari's. That is all.

7: Better Dungeons.

8: My last wish are the wishes of those before me about the romance aspects of the Links/characters. Don't force 'em, make 'em diverse.

Ok, so it became qute a list. Still, I think half of this list might become a realty.

1. Better random-generated Dungeons (Then again, I could say the same for Re:Cahin of Memories,in terms of the rooms being more random-generated in spacial design...)

2. Dating Anyone within your Social Links (Add that to the option to want to date said social link)

3. Stronger Plot (with execution to complement it throughout)

4. A black persona user

(Actual) 4. Vital Persona Fusing (Add that to not only the MC the chance to switch between different Personas... *thinking about Persona 2 a little*)

5. Both rock and J-pop version of each song (I couldn't actually think of a #5, from my perspective... Though some of the other wish lists I'm agreeing with right now...)

I think I would most certainly appreciate a female protaganist.

I would also be very glad to have dungeons that aren't hallways connected by staircases.

Maybe protaganist voice acting?

1: Character creation would be nice, they should do the same thing Fire Emblem Awakening did (portrait + 3D model). Not a lot of options, but my MU feels unique to me.
2: The ability to customise your main Persona.
3: I like the ability to adjust difficulty in P4Golden, it'd be nice to have it back.
4: Make social links harder and not every girls want to sleep with the main protagonist.
5: An ambiguously evil team mate.
6: Change clothing even if you're not in a dungeon.
7: Navigation lines feel unnecessary to me. I wish I can turn it off.
8: I'm tired of mute protagonists, I want the PC to be able to speak.
9: I hope we can play as more than one character, depends on who we picked, they'd have different lines and the story will change according to their personalities. Or we can play as either the hero or the villain. That'd be nice.
