Uhmmmm most notable example but I don't ever go back to pick another decision in Life is Strange during those instances where you can choose one and no matter which you choose, Max is like "oh noooo maybe I should've done the other option" - one of my least favourite parts of that game (which I'm only playing for a friend anyway) is the whole "time travel" bit.

In Telltale games, my first playthrough is always natural, never "oh well I'll just choose that one next time" or "time to load!" and play most the characters as the strong, silent type (exception being Rhys because Troy Baker).

Other than that, I just always pick the rogue/stealth ways to go and I'll ALWAYS use a sniper no matter how useless it is.

In Skyrim, since I play on a console, each of my characters compulsively collects something - I have one who's a Cabbage Saviour, one who has every troll skull he's ever seen littered in his house and a chick who has tonnes of butterfly wings. Everywhere.

In Fallout 2, I always kill Tubby and Flick in the Den.
Killing flick actually give you positive karma...so yeah usually my first move in the den. Sometimes I save scum until he has a shotgun, hunting rifle and magnum, instead of doubles of one of those.

If I'm only playing for the trochievements, then I try to play it with as little completions as possible...Unless I'm "Let's Play"ing the game in question, I'm not going to trudge through any game to get to its conclusion...If I'm getting back into a game, I don't restart at the beginning... unless the save data was lost beforehand...If I'm playing Jak 2, then I'm always playing on Hero Mode if it's unlocked beforehand...I intentially make my first playthroughs drag longer than they should just because I keep thinking I would experience everything on the first playthrough...Other than that, my backlog doesn't exist unless I make it exist... :p

In Battlefield 4 I have the rule that I don't use anything that real-life counterpart of the factions don't use. Unless there are weapons missing, which I supplement with the closest thing in the arsenal.

In Witcher 3, no minimap allowed. I can appreciate the scenery more when my eyes aren't glued to the top right corner of the screen to see where the dotted line is headed.

STALKER: Shotgun (50 ammo spare) and an assault rifle (100 spare ammo), 3 medkits, 3 bandages, 3 antirads and some food. That's all a good Stalker needs on an excursion into the Zone.

And all stealth games are No Alert, No Kill, Hardest Difficulty, if possible. Tenchu is an exception to the Pacifism rule.

When playing Skyrim: Regardless of good or evil, obtaining Daedric artifacts is always more important than one's moral compass. Oh you have to murder some questionably innocent NPCs to obtain this item? Well it's better off in my hands than those filthy Daedric Princes anyway, so I shall remember your noble sacrifice!

In any sort of game that features mining, Dungeon Keeper, Minecraft, Gnomoria, all rooms must be square and an odd number of tiles, 3x3, 5x5, 7x7...

Every single build in The Witcher 3 includes Delusion in the Axii tree for the extra dialogue choices.

Endurance is always the dump stat, I'd rather be a glass cannon.

When playing Bioshock Infinite I make sure never to die during the sections where Elizabeth isn't around. I don't like what is implied when that happens.
Funny, I found the pre-Elizabeth death sequence a lot more interesting, especially based on what we see at the ending.

Whenever I play FFX--the original, not the remastered version--I always kill Seymour with Ifrit's overdrive the first time around. That was how I killed him the first time around the first time I played it, so call it tradition if nothing else. Burn, you magnificently crazy fucker. >:D

In Mega Man X I finished the game while using no charged shots, and no special weapons ever. Lemons only! (Other than the final boss which is immune.

Bioshock Infinite, mostly near the beginning.

When I'm approaching the preacher who baptizes you, walk, I walk, don't run, I wanted soak in the atmosphere and the moment, but I want to reach him before he finishes his sermon (or speech or whatever it may be). I was super hyped for Infinite when it was coming out and I wanted it to feel like a serious life-changing experience rather than just a game so I thought "if I interrupt the dialogue, he could've gone on forever, he's stopping because he noticed me." Which is funny because interrupting dialogue is a pretty video game-y thing anyway but shut up.

And speaking of walking, no running, I always walk the entire intro to that game until I pick up a gun, pushing the stick halfway, just walking. I like watching this world open itself up to me, I should slow down and let it in.

Gears Of War 3

When you reach Char (more easily identifiable as the Ash city), I don't touch the Ash people. I'm sure most people don't, the characters themselves say they shouldn't disturb them, out of respect, but there's nothing stopping you so it's still a choice.

And now for something far more profane from the same area of the same game. In a cutscene, Griffin calls Anya a ***** and I say "Fuck!" every time I hear it. The first time it happened I said it out of surprise and because I was playing co-op with my sister who had played every Gears game with me, I wanted ending the trilogy to feel like an event so I sort of... adopted the attitude of characters in the game, which means I was very profane.

Not sure if I need to spoiler-box this one but I will anyway.
Pet the giraffe. Seriously, do it. This scene used to make me cry (depending on my mood, it still does) because it was a somewhat happy moment following one of the much darker levels of an already dark game.
I don't care about that as much anymore.
Petting a giraffe is cool.

For Local multiplayer games, you might get punched if A. you turn off the system because your losing, or B. pull someone's controller out of the system.

My reason being is because Once had to pull my friend off of someone because he popped opened his gamecube while the gamecube was playing and it broke. It worked out though because it was under warranty and he got a GameCube with a extra copy of Double Dash.

I'll go off of my current Fallout 4 run.
What is your approach to power-armor?
For the most part, it's been to completely ignore it. I don't think it feels as heavy, sluggish, or powerful as it should be. However, in the off-chance I have to wear it, such as traversing the Glowing Sea (which I have modded to be as dangerous as its name and appearance would suggest), I do self-impose extra restrictions.

-No running unless absolutely necessary.
Just so it feels at least a little weighty.
-No aid while in the armor.
Food and medicine do not get administered internally by the suit, as if the suit isn't too bulky to handle them anyway.
-Large weapons only, if anything.
There is no way those bulky, tank hands are holding a rinky-dink combat knife, or pistol. I don't understand why these things can hold small/medium arms.
-Must exit power armor to lockpick/hack, eat, drink, sleep, etc.
-No crouching, or, at the very least, no sneaking; that's just nonsense.
-No jumping unless absolutely necessary.
This comes back to my problem of the armor not feeling heavy. You can maneuver and jump around like the suit is weightless, and that's lunacy. I won't deny that the armor should have enough power to be able to jump, but it should feel like more effort is being put into it, and it should feel like it has some heft upon landing.
-Space limits still apply. (4 fusion cores to start; 1 in the armor, 3 in the inventory.)
Even though wearing the armor increases my carry weight, I'm still not strapping a bunch of brooms and desk fans to my armor. I think of my inventory as a sort of duffel bag, or rucksack. Whatever I feel can't fit gets left.

All of this said, once I got my hands on a hazmat suit, armor went out the window.
