My dad has a doctorate in psychology, so I've been doing this for years and am actually certified to give the test myself. My preference has always been INFP, it's just grown more and more extreme over time.

And no, I disagree with the "self-confidence" thing, I'm very arrogant these days. It's because there are so many feeling-oriented people around. The fact that people dote on the flash-in-the-pan crap until something new comes along is really frustrating.

I would still be more INTP if not for my disappointment in other people's opinion. Oop, there I got again, being arrogant, but a lot of people aren't really analyzing all of the details on a topic... they just go with their current thought on something as their entire opinion.

They always gave us these things in school & every year I got something completely different.

For me the test was a long string of questions that could either be interpreted in different ways or I had no idea what the flying hell the questions were trying to ask me. In others I was indifferent & neither yes nor no seemed right. The questions also don't take being in a good or bad mood into consideration. Another issue I have with the test is that I'm forced to replace "emotions" with "opinions" since I don't have any squishy feelings.

If I were to retake the test in a week or even tomorrow, I would not get the same thing.

Well, my time socializing on internet forums for years on end has transformed me from a quiet secretive naive antisocial child-like person into a loud blunt digitally-social bitter nostolgiac with no shits to give & needs to be entertained at all times.
