I don't really agree on how extreme they are on most subjects. But I do hate animal testing for cosmetics and domestic animal abuse, and other things of that nature. And PETA basically funded the Eagle Project I did so I thank them for that

I absolutely hate PETA. Not for what they are trying to do (though some of their ideas are just plain stupid) but because of the way they do it. Constantly trying to overly victimise animals, comparing small animal abuse to huge breaches of human rights, the holocaust pictures proving it. Humanity has worked it's way to the top of the food chain and because of that some people have taken it into their heads that we should live without meat etc, because according to them it's bad for us. Ask a doctor if people should eat red meat and you will get a reasonable and accurate response, ask a PETA member abd they'll act like you just asked if you can eat babies. They have all these flawed mentalities, some of which i agree with but most of which are just stupid. Also how much funding goes to PETA that could be used to help actual people? I'd rather save a child than a goat.

Edit: Forgot to give the simplified version. FUCK PETA. Laters.

Shivari, that was pure awesome, and also my new background.

Of course, the old one is still pretty good to me...

PETA insults me personally every moment i live.

I love to eat meat. I love eating meat more than i actually like it out of hatred for PETA.

And i if i ever saw some kids kicking a cat one day on the sidewalk, i would stop my car, kick them if i could, and then take the cat home and treat it to some nice milk and processed ham. mmm

I love animals. I like the pety ones and the eaty ones.

Not strictly related to PETA, but it made me laugh. It was mentioned in the news recently about how at a local owlery, around a dozen of the birds were released from their cages in the middle of the night by what the police believe to be animal activists. So, the activists release the caged animals, and they fly out and enjoy their freedom, right? Wrong. Because the birds have been raised from eggs, they don't understand how to hunt and fend for themselves. Most of the owls were found the next day cold, hungry, and soaking wet. Had they not been recovered, they would have died of starvation.

And that is why I give hardcore animal activists the ol' Cynic's Eye. Most of the animals they try to 'rescue' depend on humans to survive.
The standpoint of an animal rights activist is utterly illogical and cannot stand up to a debate. Their method of recruiting impressionable minds of college freshmen searching for purpose and a cause has to be the most despicable thing ever next to scientology's stress tests.

I just realized you can spell PET and EAT with the letters of PETA :)

Edit: Do you consider yourself a pet-o-phile?

Same here, though I might take the cat to vet myself since I'm not really good with animals. Nice avie by the way.

I work for an animal welfare organisation, and I can honestly say that the extremists in peta have caused us more problems than they have helped solve. Google sheep mulesing, for an example. They have no idea what they're on about.

Pretty amazing accomplishment for a minor if you ask me. Put that shit on your College Resume.
Accomplishments include being loved by internet forums...

I like it, but my mission will not be complete until I'm more popular than Yahtzee.

PETA disgusts me. I like animals. I really do. But I like pet animals. If an animal is being raised for meat it really doesn't matter how we treat them. THEY ARE GOING TO BE DEAD SOON. So who cares how they feel.

Personally I think that beef is unneccessarily destructive, but that's just all the more reason to KILL ALL THE COWS. I think we would be better off just destroying the beef industry altogether. But that doesn't mean we should stop eating animals. Just find an animal that is easier to make and eat. Like fish. We could trap them in tiny boxes too small for them to swim around and then torture them unneccessarily for our own sadistic pleasure.

Or how about we go torture some plants. Or better yet.

We should eat the people in PETA! Soylent green anyone?

Until you become a cranky British male in his late twenties/early thirties who's underwear is too tight, you will never achieve said popularity.
