So, I just read the news. Peter Falk, also known by his most prominent role of Columbo, has died. I didn't see a thread, so even though I'm a few days late, I'll give this its own thread. I hope I'm not re-posting something already known.
For me, watching numerous re-runs of the show growing up, in a strange way this is a sad ending to a chapter of my own life as well. It's very odd to see the heroes of your childhood grow old and sometimes die away while you only continue growing older yourself as well. Hell, I just recently got myself a proper trenchcoat I've wanted for so long because I adored Columbo's stylish non-style.
Anyway, what do you make of this?
Oh, and one last thing...
R.I.P., Peter Falk.
