While I got tired with the constant bloody songs at every other page, that one has always been awesome.
I always looked at them as poems more than songs

OT 'bout time Billy was in one of these films, he's got Tolkien writen all over him!

Connolly and Cumberbatch... Count me the fuck in. I hate, utterly hate LotR but I love those two actors so I will see it just for them.

I would have argued hes best known for being, you know, a comedian... but then I guess he may not be that big outside of the UK perhaps.
Yeah. I was hoping that was a lame joke of some sort. A tiny role in a practically unknown movie, especially when if he were to be known for any movie it would be The Man Who Sued God.

This will be awesome even if the Tolkien fans burst out of the woodwork and disagree.

They're still not done shooting? It's less than a year till it's released, I thought it takes that long to edit, finalize and distribute the thing.

Oh hell yes, Billy Connolly is pure concentrated awesomeness. I cannot remember the last time I was this excited for a movie.
The head of the art department at my college looks just like him!

I'm still sad they didn't cast Brian Cox as any of the dwarves.

He would've been fucking badass with a full beard, wielding an axe.
