Remember Peter Molydeux from <link=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.323362-Molyneux-Satire-Spawns-Survival-Horror-Bowling-Game>a few days back?

Peter Molydeux was a brilliant Twitter parody of Peter Molyneux, with digs at various forms of "immersion" and screwing with players for experimental purposes, as well as combining things that don't naturally combine and calling it "revolutionary", like survival horror and bowling. (see above)

It died.

Peter Molydeux, you brought me much laughter and sparked some fun thought experiments. It's a shame that you're gone now, and I'll miss you thoroughly.

Please tell me I am not the only one who misread that and thought Peter Molyneux died.

OT: Well what happened to it? I don't like links.

sad day indeed. THat survival horror/bowling trailer was funny. Wonder what caused its end? The real Molyneux perhaps?

+1 for what the hell happened? I would dearly like to know.

I loved pondering how to implement Molydeux's half-baked ideas into a real game. Like the one where you bring in enemies to slow down the frame rate of the game so that you could complete timing-intensive puzzles. Comedy gold. But not enough horses.

Noooo! I loved him. The bit about shooting someone in one game, then in another you see their children crying was brilliant! Can't imagine the real Molyneux had an issue with this, he's usually too busy Molyneuxing his own games to pay attention to the real world.

I can't believe I missed out on this.

Also, am I the only one who got excited at the headline until it became clear that Molyneux was, in fact, not dead?
