Pets doing weird shit.

my cat will hop up onto a sofa next to my mum, then shuffle closer over about half an hour until he's right behind her, then he stabs her in the back so she jumps up then BAM! no seat for ma.
he also gets fluffy cushions and makes nests.

my mums childhood cats are the following:
-one who go stoned on catnip all the time
-one who took catnip then taunted the neighbour's dogs
-one who used to skate around with his front paws in a dustpan on the kitchen lino
-one who used to sit on the tops of doors until my uncle came in in the morning then hop on his head. daily.
-the dog who would walk along the beaches then break free and bolt home like a madman.

My cat Tribble humps my teddy bear for about five minutes every other night, it's hilarious. My poor teddy, he always needs to be washed because of that cat!

My dog LOVES to laze about and sit on our sofa. She sometimes, whilst she is sitting on my sofa gets a pillow in her teeth and puts it on herself, then lays on the pillow.

Whenever we have a roast dinner, we give her a yorkshire pudding. She then runs upstairs and trys to "bury it" on one of my family's beds.

Of course he was a big dog. he was a Mastador (mastiff/lab mutt) and he was (from what I understood from the when the "owner" was arrested) the biggest of the litter. By the time he died the biggest he had been was 138 lbs.

Dude, that means that your dog was 10 lbs heavier than I have ever been in my entire life I really want to get a Mastiff (or some mix where it features heavily). I want a giant puppy that my little girl can ride around like a small horse.

OT: My first dog wouldn't let you stop petting her, especially if you were scratching her behind the ears. If you stopped she would just nudge your hand with her head until you started again. My dog now does this weird thing when he's playing with you where he...for lack of a better way of putting it 'eats' your arm. He'll open his mouth as wide as he can and gently latch onto your forearm going "NNNGGAAAAAAHHHH" (it's really hard to convey the noise through text, but it's something like Homer Simpson drooling).

My little orange tabby is incapable of moving without making some kind of meow or yelp. This gets ridiculous when she chases the other cats around the house and she changes direction at high speed, lets out a little "Rawr!" and then bashes into the door. Stupid cat.

Like I said, he was big. between his size, scars, and bark, plus his colour (he was black with some browns near his paws and the tip of his tail) he looked like a dog straight out of hell. But he was my big puppy in the end (though I think he'd be damned if anyone ever tried to ride him. he was rather... prideful).

Sounds like my elkhound, when he wants some love, he'll go up to you and demand it. And then start pawing at you if you stop patting him.

When he and the German Shepherd wrestle, after a bit he starts sneezing, I'm guessing from her fur tickling his nose.

I've also seen him licking the inside of her ears with this silly devoted look on his face.

My first dog that was truly mine was one we picked up after he came from a dog fighting ring,.

he was. When we first got him the first thing he did was bite my uncle on the wrist and arm. But we broke him of that. he was still aggressive as all hell when he needed to be, and one of my more vibrant memories of him is two years after I got him, we had this problem with wolves around some of the properties closer to the woods (they got more adventurous and stopped caring about if the human lived there and just walked on and around the property), and my dog saw one close to the house and just tore into it and killed it.

well I gues he was pretty lucky to get owners that had enough patience (and experience) to help him be "normal" more or less

and by thesounds of it he lived on a property? because I cant imagine that going over well in suburbia

I thourght there might have been regulations in regards to ex fighting dogs (depeding on how you got him) I thourght he would have just been put down...in Aus a while back there were calls to ban the "pit-bull" breed because they are bred fighting dogs..and there were attacks/deaths

And sometimes she'll just stand on the back edge of our couch. I think she thinks she's a cat sometimes.

It's not really something one of my pets do, it's more like what she doesn't do. Which is eat any meat or fish. Yes my cat is a vegetarian. She also prefers milkshake over milk or cream, strawberry is her favourite. And lastly she growls when someone knocks, like dogs do.

She is without a doubt, insane in the membrane.

My mom's dogs speak english. they use growls, snarls, etc, to form words in english, usually gathering into short coherent sentience. examples:

"I want one."
"I love you."
"momma."

so it's usually stuff a young toddler would say. still interesting.

If there was no one ever said anything to me about it. I lived in a Suburban area, though he spent his first three years with my grandfather on a more out in the woods type property. Then once we were sure he was trained he came to live with me in my house. he only ever bit one other person when he meant it, and to be fair that guy was trespassing and vandalizing my yard.

and as a little side remark, I dont think yuo should ban pitbulls just cause they're the most common fighting dogs. theres a guy who lives with three (well, did, they all died of natural causes, nd now he jsut has one thats a puppy) on my street and they were some of the nicest dogs you could meet. and he had young kids come visit him (grandchildren).

Then again.. we didnt really get my dog through legal means. My uncle heard what was happening, showed up, asked the cop who was in charge (and both a high school and war buddy) if he could take a dog as a pet and got to bring home Josh (my dog).

Slowly.

Occasionally she'll paused halfway through a lick and just stand there with her tongue on the glass as if to say, "Well?! Do you see me now?!"
