Whilst having one of my many glances back into the Good ol' days...I remembered one game which I must have played more than any other, A game which had held my attention for the longest and a game which, unfortunately is no longer in my possession. Phantom Crash, I'm sure a few of you here will recognize this, a Japanese, Third person, mecha, shoot 'em up...

Does anyone here remember this? Do you still even have a copy? Do you still play it? What was your view on it?

I personally loved the game, more so than a paedophile loves children...Ok, so that was probably a bad description. But still, my love for this game has no bounds, the soundtrack, was amazing, especially for a Japanese game, the action was fun and fast paced and just overall a very enjoyable experience....

Share the love! We must let more people know!!!

I still have my copy. It was a great game, which I sunk an innumerable amount of hours into. However, I unfortunately don't still play it due to the shoddy backwards compatibility on the 360 and I have no space for my Xbox. The 360 runs at a lower speed which makes the game so much easier which takes a lot always from the frantic action.

No never played it... reminds me of Shogo: Moblie Armour Division

Aaah, I remember many an afternoon being drained away on a money run On Phantom Crash. The level with the winding stair case and hole in the roof brings back memory's. I'd sit there for hours, chugging up the cash and other bits as I Slaughtered the other Mechs.

What set up did you use?

I remember mine being The holly mech, with hover boots, The pistol arms and the Quad rocket on the right shoulder, using the Skull paint job....I spent hours upgrading everything perfectly, so that it was set exactly right. I can't remember what Chip I had, think it was one of the Cat's, they had the best Auto-lock feature if I remember?

I'm very tempted to Ebay and old xbox and a copy of this, many an hour would be wasted again!

i have the game, and i am happ to say xbox 360 now supports it, and i've been pumping hours into it from day one and have had it for 6 years. personally i have a photon mech with anti guns on both hands and mach 31's for backpack on six legs. i quote zero punctuation in saying "the level of customization is ... Straitjacket-wearing, small-animal-torturing insane" -ZP Saints Row 2 Review.
personally i liked to camp under the stairs in the second map with my full minute of OC time for some dumbass to com get the items.

I remember that level, the one with the hole that the items fell down? Yes, I too camped under the stairs with OC! I think I managed to get a good 1/2million on most sit throughs of that level!

I'll have a look into trenched!
