hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia - Fear of long words
Not really my personal fear, but I think its a cool name for the specific phobia.

Mine would be some sort of social phobia since I generally hate people.

I just fear being close to other people
I'd just like to ask: are you scared of being close to them..? Or does it make you feel a little sick, or feel sick in any way when you think of being close to someone?

Is it everyone in general, or are there some people you particularly don't 'want' to be close too.

Just wondering. I feel nauseous whenever family starts to get close to me. But with anyone and everyone else, I love to let them in on any of my secrets o.o

Ahh sorry, double post ;o

Venephobia, Fear of veins.
I know it's weird, i don't know why i suffer from it, but it's severe.
That's my only phobia, otherwise nothing else bothers me.

Mostly it makes me uneasy like when a bee comes near me(I fear bees or any flying stinging bugs a lot to the point where I almost break down(in fact I did break down in fear before...) if to many are near), and I have to get away or to some corner of the room. It's not a sicking feeling it's just massive unease like if I don't get out I'm gonna break down.

I have a paralyzing fear of heights. I'm even afraid to go past the second story of a building. It's my only weakness.

It is called cynophobia.

I used to have it, but it has reduced over the years and I can consider myself "cured" now.
Thanks for the info. And yes, mine's also much better now than it used to; in fact, I've lost a lot of my previous phobias (although "phobia" might be a bit too strong a word, often they were justified fears) as I grew bigger and stronger.

Although with the cynophobia, it's more that I can control it rather than it's gone - it can still get pretty strong if I'm taken by surprise... My girlfriend still likes to remind me how once I almost started running away in terror when suddenly barked at by a tiny dog whose most fearsome act would probably be humping someone's shoe.
