So... I know that if you have a Samsung Galaxy S3, and you have any Android version above 4.1.1, you can't unlock your phone manually. However, if you downgrade down to 4.1.1, you can. So, my question is, can you do this with ANY smartphone, old or new, to unlock it? Just downgrade it super quickly down to 4.1.1 with any 4.1.1 version firmware and then unlock it manually and then upgrade it back to what it was again? Note that it doesn't need to work perfectly or even good on 4.1.1. It just needs to run enough to get to the Dial screen.
