Ok, sorry about the pun.

BT it would appear have seen sense from the backlash associated with Phorm as reported on the BBC [http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8135850.stm].

It would appear that the credit crunch has had a positive effect.

Have any of the escapists been subjected to Phorm by their ISPs? Do you have any opinion on BT dropping it like a sack of... something... er.. heavy and unpleasant?

Well, I kinda like it. It helps prevent me from getting dirty advertisements. I'd prefer to see the faces of my favorite MMORPGs than the faces of "local hotties" of the same sex that look barely legal.

Or is it that I just visit nerdy sites? I dunno...
Just please, no pr0n.... >.<

Never heard of it before, but, if it stops me getting advertisements for weightloss, local hotties, MMORPGS that I never play nor want to play and how to make money posting on Google, it's nice and beneficial to me.

Phorm serves up adverts related to a user's web browsing history, which it monitors by taking a copy of the places they go and search terms they look for.
Isn't that basically spyware then?
