So boys and girls...

I return from my holiday with an assload of photos (1GB) and am interested in seeing what other people can photograph.

I like some of the abstractness in the closeups, but are there pictures coming that give a larger "picture" of where you went? Scenery and the like? There are some cool pictures there, though.

I like some of the abstractness in the closeups, but are there pictures coming that give a larger "picture" of where you went? Scenery and the like? There are some cool pictures there, though.

EDIT: Also I don't really do real life photography, but I was very into taking screenshots on Halo 3 a lot a while ago. I could spend about thirty minutes in a 5 minute video just to get one perfect shot, and most of them were actually quite liked.

I get why people would 'shop their photos to add nice effects, but in this way it doesn't seem like original photography to me anymore but more likevisual arts creator or something in that direction.

I've been officially taking pictures as a photographer for three years for me. I was in the photography program for the last two years of High School (I was one of the "higher-ups" in our art department).

So, if you ever have any questions about anything...

Yeah, I've used a few friends of mine as models. The two girls in the post above are both friends of mine. Feel free to be jealous. As for Photoshop, Selective Coloring is one of my favorite things to do to a picture.

EDIT: For the record, the only two pictures I 'shoped were the ones with selective color. All the other ones are the same as when I shot them.
