Photoshop elements 10...need help!

ok so Ive been drawing and stuff latey, today I opened up photoshop and it turns out for whatever reason theere is no color when I go to use the brush tool

so I select a red....its grey

I select a darker red...its a darker grey

I have NO Idea how I did this..its been a couple of days since I was last using photoshop and I probably somehow changed setting but this is seriously irritating the fuck out of me...I tried reseting all tools.. that doesn't work

so I'm wonder if anyone with intimate knowelge of Photoshop might know how to switch it back?

I don't have PS on this computer, so I'm going from memory here. But you've probaly switched to a different coloursetting by accident.

Go to Image (second menu option I think), image mode (I think), switch to RGB, or indexed or anything but grey scale.

I have no Idea how I did that XD....better be more careful next time I experiment around

It's possible that you accidentally picked greyscale when you made a new file (that how it usually happens with me).
