May I just suggest that you make a thread about this in R&P and have all the heated discussion you want, there. All of this is turning into a hated and heated "Us vs Them" situation that has been happening too many times on this site and everywhere else.

I couldn?t care less whether or not he comes into the UK (for whatever reason, he doesn?t seem to have been reprimanded by the authorities for sexual assault); ironically, I just find it funny that these loser men are believing what he, the self-styled ?pick-up artist?, is saying, and laughing along with his pathetic misunderstanding of women and foreign cultures. Yep, it's the same guy. Guys, this isn't some lowly pick-up artist. No, this guy is ten times worse. This is a guy who said that white men could do anything in Tokyo. What Julien Blanc and his ilk teach is not how to sleep with any women you want, but how to target the weak and systematically break down what little defense and self respect those people have. They're rarely called to answer for their harassment because they carefully choose women who are statistically unlikely to report they're behavior, and then emotionally and physically threaten and abuse these women to cow them into submission. Mr. Blanc doesn't turn PH. D, candidates into emotional unstable women - he selects emotionally unstable or passive women and takes from them what he wants. Also take into account that his more recently filmed 'exploits' occurred in foreign nations he was visiting - places where he left before any fair investigation could take place, and of which extradition would be, lets face it, impractical and unlikely to happen considering the nature of the crimes he's committed.

That being said, I'm unsure if that qualifies him for denial of entry into a country - it does seem a bit extreme, and likely an abuse of state power. I do think that what we know about Julien Blanc certainly should disqualify him from seeking citizenship of a state (If he ever tried), and if any country that allows him entry dedicated a few police officers to follow him about while he was in country, I would consider that tax money well spent.

The accusations are well founded. He took down the video, because he wanted to hide the proof, put he put up his speech in Japan. In it, he said that "White man can do anything to women here" and showed a video in which he grabbed women and forced their face into his crotch, laughing while the women were clearly saying no. So yeah, all sympathy is lost and he just proved himself that he is guilty a hundred fold.

To be fair, I've never seen anyone give actual consent to a sudden kiss. There are no papers to file, there is no verbal declaration made.. it just happens. Technically, what this guy is doing isn't a problem unless someone files charges against him, and everyone he encounters is free to do that. It's not like he's killing these women or even threatening them afterwords. There is absolutely no magical barriers stopping them from filing police reports and getting him arrested.

I don't deny the guy is a giant asshole, sure, but denying people from your country for being offensive is a slippery slope that could potentially have no end. When do we start banning people from our countries for making movies we find politically offensive? Drawing gory art? Having diseases like HIV? If you really want to play the "danger to citizens game" so loosely, technically that last one is a larger threat because if they chose to sleep around and/or got in an accident of some kind, the people in your country will be at risk.
