I was talking about complimenting people on the Internet, such as threads like these. Oftentimes women can say "You look sexy/hot/nice/fine" or whatever, whereas men will be told "Lol yeah, there are women on the Internet, you creepo" if they tell a woman "Wow, you look nice".
Maybe you disagree. It's nothing but a personal observation

A bit of a cliched assumption, but I will admit that the male gender can be a less eloquent when dealing with the opposite gender. I dyed my hair purple but can't for the life of me get the right colour in pictures. Not even using natural lights. I think my bathroom lights lie to me and make it look nicer than it is.

I smile all the time in real life, but whenever I try to pose for a picture it just looks forced. It also didn't help that our graduation was in mid June and it managed to be both hot (high 90s) and humid (close to 100%) for almost the entire day. Most of the guys were wearing full tuxes underneath our robes, so we were really uncomfortable until we got into some air conditioning. Thank god that the convention center was heavily cooled.
