Yep, that might generate a bit too much muzzle climb.DanielPowell33 said:I'd like some feedback on this, mainly if there's anything technicality wrong with it, before I make a weapon system out of it.
My biggest concern is that the receiver might be too high, but I may be wrong. let me know what'ca think.
Remember that the muzzle is trying to go up by rotating around your wrist, not around the midpoint of the gun. Having the stock angled down means you can push it down into your shoulder rather than just resting it against your shoulder, which I imagine makes it harder to rotate. It also means you don't have to put the sight way above the line of the barrel to make it usable when the weapon is shouldered.NimbleJack3 said:Technical question - why don't real guns (M16 and similar off the top of my head) have the stock in line with the barrel? Why not center it?
And that's the first step to improvement. Cheers.WanderingFool said:Yeah, There is alot of changes I need to make for the M14.Putting the two side by side shows me just what I need to add and modify, fourtunatly.sooperman said:The MP7 is actually pretty close, and you got the major details in. PMG isn't as forgiving with parts as I'd like it to be, but this one turned out well.
Is it just me or does the M14 Mod 0 look like it was made from other, discarded gun parts? It always bothers me when I'm playing BC2. The stock, the pistol grip, the sights, and the handguard look like they're from different guns. Very strange...
Anyway, your recreation is decent, but work on the shape if you try again. The shape is a bit off here, because you have parts that don't agree with the original's design.
*Edit*
Crap, meant to add this to my other post above... my bad.
And the next step is doing said improvments. So, here is the redone look, still a ways to go I think...sooperman said:Snip
I think I like Powell's look better, but I think adding a front grip would be better.DanielPowell33 said:
Two different improvements to the above gun, tell me witch one works better.
I knew someone would get confused by my wording. All of those guns are mine. On the top two the barrel is kinda high in relation to the stock, and I made two possible improvements with the bottom guns.WanderingFool said:I think I like Powell's look better, but I think adding a front grip would be better.DanielPowell33 said:

Search in the box "Malachi blending pimp my gun". Once you have everything blended together, it'll look awesome. I say go for it with the weapon system.cuddlesRT75 said:Right, here's a new toy I call it the H&K Mamba. I want to make a weapons system out of this one, but want some feedback on the stock version first.
Without further speil here it is
I dont know how to blend so that is why the foregrip and handguard havent been blended
