Looks like the Gov. is pulling a fast one with a re-named SOPA that is going to be voted on Jan 24th.

Spread the word, we haven't gotten rid of it yet!

Actually, it's been around just as long as SOPA, and people have been complaining about it as long as they have been SOPA. With all our hard work on killing SOPA however, and the fact that we can still protest PIPA, I seriously doubt this can pass.

But that doesn't mean we shouldn't do a thing about it: We still need to actively fight against PIPA, cause even though SOPA failed and PIPA probably will also, doesn't mean we can't help it to it's grave.

In order for a law to go into effect it has to pass both the House and Senate. PIPA is really just the Senate's version of SOPA, and killing one effectively kills the other as well. Though I suppose if one passes it would put pressure on the other house to pass their own...

This is Eagle One, redirect all internet firepower from SOPA to PIPA. Repeat, redirect all internet firepower to PIPA. Maximum force recommended.

It's never really over, isn't it?
